Anna is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of women and is committed to championing better women’s health across her private and NHS work.

Dr Anna Cantlay has been a doctor for 13 years, having qualified from the University of Nottingham with first class honours in 2011. She works as an NHS and private GP in London and is a British Menopause Society Accredited Advanced Menopause Specialist.

She is a member of the National Association of Premenstrual Syndromes and the European Menopause and Andrology Society and has extensive clinical experience in menopause and menstrual health across the NHS and Private sector.

She was Associate Clinical Director for Brompton Primary Care Network for 4 years, where she helped establish a Community Women’s health hub and now leads an NHS PMS and Menopause clinic.

She is particularly interested in tackling health inequalities in Women’s Health. In 2023, she received the Freedom of City of London award from the Lord Mayor of London for services to the NHS.

In addition to her menopause training, she gained a Postgraduate Diploma with the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

She has an interested in psychosexual health and has a certification with the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine. She is also trained in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, an evidenced based therapy to help with some of the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.

Anna has a keen interest in lifestyle medicine and preventative care and carries this knowledge into her consultations.

Outside of clinical work, Anna is a devoted mother and enjoys yoga, cooking and weight training.
